British Potato 2019

Belchim UK welcomed hundreds of visitors to their stand at British Potato 2019.

The eye-catching Belchim stand was one of the busiest at the event and appeared in many social media feeds and publicity shots.  Potato haulm desiccation with Gozai was a hot-topic with Belchim’s potato experts offering advice on all aspects of potato agronomy.

This year our stand reflected both our Belgian roots and development of novel chemistry with a display echoing the Atomium building in Brussels.  Our corporate video highlighted the trials carried out in Londerzeel and Fronton and our partnership with Globachem.

In the evening the inaugural National Potato Awards took place where over 350 industry guests were present.  The UK marketing team received a highly commended certificate for their work engaging with customers at events.  The marketing team was recognised for work demonstrating field trials to customers throughout the desiccation season, further cementing Belchim’s position as potato experts.
